God in Public School Part 2

Remember Chico from a while back?
Well, Chico's brother asked me how he could get a Bible like his brother's. The deal is, Chico and his brother are foster kids in one of those foster homes for lots of kids with lots of problems. Chico's brother can't read...well, not much. He takes classes at school where they are trying to teach him to read on a 1st grade level, and he struggles there. I asked if he had asked his mom for a Bible. He said she had a Bible but he couldn'd read any of it. I asked again, "But did you ask for one for you. They make them for even very beginning readers." He said, "But do you have one?" Well, yes, I do have one, but I didn't want to just come out and say it. I talked to his foster mom ...

AND SHE'S LETTING ME GIVE HIM THE KIDS PICTURE STORY BIBLE I HAVE. And the neatest part is, I bought it for him because he's JUSTON...the boy I thought I was going to adopt. But, as you all know, my plans have changed, and I won't be adopting anyone now, as it was not the right decision for either of us. BUT, I still get to give him his Bible.
