Book update

Regarding Times and Seasons: This is the third in a series. It's of excellent quality in writing and theology. The story particularly appealed to me because it included the salvation of a troubled teen, and I work with troubled teens. I only wish that I could present Bible studies to them. I have to present God creatively, as our government has decided that public schools should not teach God.

Regarding Naked Came the Manatee: Multiple authors worked together on this. Each wrote one chapter. Some chapters were excellent. Others, I could have put in the trash. I was disappointed in the fact that some of the chapters were so vulgar that the story was lost in them. I especially liked Dave Barry's chapter. Also, James W. Hall pleased me. Evelyn Mayerson was another worthy author. While Carl Hiaasen's work wasn't up to par for him, I give him credit for doing the hardest job...tying it all up in the end.

Regarding Freedom from Your Past: This is a nice book to work through together with an accountability partner or a life transforming group in a cell through your church community.
