Batgirl #19 was supposed to rock my world because of the introduction of Batgirl's roommate as transgender. Well, it sucked. Alysia was just like, "I'm transgender." There better be more to it than that coming up.
First of all, that's not how coming out works.
Second, that's not how being transgender works.
Third, I'm not even sure transgender is the self-identifier someone in Alysia's situation would choose.
Fourth, Batgirl shouldn't have trusted James with Alysia EVER.
Fifth, why was there so much media hype for such a let down of a scene?
